At Foot Clinic, our journey began over three decades ago with a singular vision: to provide the highest standard of podiatric care through innovation, compassion, and expertise. Founded in Wheeling, Illinois, by Dr. Anthony “Peter” Spitz, DPM, our practice has grown from a single office to a leading multi-location clinic serving both Northwest Chicago and South Florida.

1994 – Foundation

Dr. Spitz opened the Wheeling practice, focusing on general foot and ankle care with a personal, patient-first approach.

2005 – Minimally Invasive Expertise

Recognizing the benefits of less-invasive techniques, Dr. Spitz became one of Illinois’s first board-certified specialists in minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery.

2012 – HyProCure® Adoption

We introduced HyProCure® implants to correct flat feet and overpronation, bringing long-term relief to patients sidelined by chronic arch pain.

2018 – Geographic Expansion

To better serve our growing patient community, we opened satellite offices in Hallandale Beach and Boca Raton, Florida—offering the same advanced treatments closer to home.

2023 – Laser Therapy Integration

Adding FDA-approved laser treatments for stubborn toenail fungus, we continued our commitment to cutting-edge solutions that minimize discomfort and downtime.
